The costs for services vary, depending on duration and location of session.
Creative Arts Therapy and Counselling sessions are generally charged at the NDIS set price of $150 for one hour.
There may be additional charges for travel or longer sessions, or if specific art materials are requested. These will be discussed on a case by case basis.
If you are experiencing financial hardship please do not let this be a barrier to receiving support. Reach out to discuss the possibility of a reduced rate or a referral to an appropriate free service.

Yes! If you or your child are Self or Plan managed. Creative Arts Therapy and Counselling are approved services under Capacity Building Supports.
Please reach out if you would like to discuss how these services can help you to meet the goals in your personal NDIS plan.

Unfortunately not. Medicare currently does not cover Counselling or Creative Arts Therapy under GP Mental Health Care Plans. Our registering bodies are working hard to have this changed as we understand the growing need for individuals to have access to therapeutic supports that best suit their needs.
It is worth noting that the cost of Creative Arts Therapy and Counselling sessions is similar to the gap you will pay when seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist. It’s important that you choose the service that is right for you. Please reach out to discus your needs.
